Which are a lot better than MultiPoint Server. In multi point you don't have a primary screen that runs off your hardware for each Workstation. This means everything is done via remote desktop.
SoftXpand duo pro does use remote desktop but only for the duplcated desktop not the primary desktop. With MultiPoint Server 2012 games and applications that can't be run in a remote enviroment, then it's going to be your worst nightmare. While softexpand duo pro is going your to be your friend. Of course, SoftXpand does have it's problems like switching primary accounts because your Hardware. On my system this issue was simiply fixed, by placing the cables and monitors in the right order. Also, it helped to enable the guest account for the remote desktop.

To write my conclusion since I've seen enough of both in action. That if your the average geek or computer user SoftXpand is your best and perhaps only option for you. If your a small business or a school with only one computer then MultiPoint Server 2012 is a good way to go.

Aftter my colleague had done some further tests and useage. He found that Minifame did do some updates to the software. Seems that they have worked out some of the bugs in their software.
However, the biggest issue we've encountered is setting up two workstations. In our case, setting one workstation up with two monitors. Then the setting up the second one using an Vizio LCD (CCFL) TV, with at least 25 foot of HDMI cable run to it.

It would seem my colleague's fix was to go into his graphics card's controll panel (Nvidia Display Properties) and setup the monitors from there. Considering that in SoftXpand setups up a computer as two computers. Thinking about it each user accound is its own computer. So if you considered that logic, it would make sense that you have to adjust things accordigly. Like if you hook up a moitor to someWindows computer conifigurations you have to manually tell it what everything is supposed to do.
